Thiago Stüssi holds a Law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2015) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in International Disputes Resolution, with focus on Arbitration, from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Germany, 2018). He studied law for 06 (six) months at the Universität zu Köln (Cologne, Germany) – 2014/2015. He is a Ph.D Candidate in Civil Law from the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro and author of articles and chapters of books, mainly related to Civil, Civil Procedural law and Arbitration. He represents national and international clients in judicial and arbitration proceedings. In the arbitration area, he highlights his experience before the International Chamber of Commerce, the FGV Mediation and Arbitration Chamber and the Center for Arbitration and Mediation of the Chamber of Commerce Brazil-Canada. He was a foreign lawyer at the law firm WAGNER Arbitration (Berlin, Germany) – 2018. He acts in the consulting area, through the development of legal opinions, in local and international disputes, in the judicial, extrajudicial and arbitration spheres. He is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) and of the DIS40 – German Initiative of Young Arbitrators.
