Pedro Sousa

Pedro Sousa

Master in transnational law from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, with an emphasis on international sports arbitration.

In the academic field, he is a visiting lecturer in several courses in the area of arbitration and sports law, with several publications in national and international levels. He is Vice President of the 1st Disciplinary Committee of the Sports Court of Santa Catarina, having previously served, in the same court, as a Prosecutor.

Member of the Brazilian Bar Association, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Santa Catarina chapters and member of the Portuguese Bar Association, Lisbon chapter.

Member of the Arbitration and Sports Law Committee of the Santa Catarina’s chapter of the Brazilian Bar Association, the Sports Law Committee of the Santa Catarina Lawyers Institute and the Portuguese Sports Law Association. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).
