Vitor Hugo Almeida is an attorney graduated from PUC-RJ (2020) and holds a Master (LL.M) in Sports Management and Legal Skills at Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economia (ISDE), in Barcelona, Spain. He works in the areas of ​​Sports Law, Civil Litigation, Arbitration and Dispute Resolution at Bichara e Motta Advogados since 2018, when he joined the firm. He has experience in litigation before the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), FIFA, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), the Brazilian Superior Court of Sport Justice and several sports dispute resolution bodies. He also provides legal advice and consultancy to various stakeholders in the sports market, such as athletes, coaches, agents, investors, clubs, federations and confederations.

Visiting professor at the “Instituto de Gestão Esportiva” (IGE), the “Centro de Estudos em Direito e Negócio” (CEDIN), the Trevisan Business School and other academic courses in Brazil, Vitor Hugo is also the author of several legal articles published in important international books and websites, such as the “Sports Law and Policy Center”, “Law in Sport” and “Football Legal”.

He is a graduate of the FGV/FIFA/CIES’ Executive Program in Sports Management and has taken several courses in the area of sports law and in the area of innovation and new technologies in sports. He is a founding member of the Sports Law Study Group (GEDD) at PUC-Rio, a member of the Young Arbitrators Committee of the Brazilian Center for Mediation and Arbitration (CBMA). and a member of Special Commission on Sports Gaming, Lottery and Entertainment Law of the Rio de Janeiro State Bar (OAB/RJ).
