Gustavo Awad is a Law (LLB Hons.) graduate from the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom (2017) and a master’s degree holder in International Commercial and Financial Law at King’s College London (2020). He is currently attending PUC-RJ in order to qualify as an attorney in Brazil . Gustavo has been a trainee with us since February 2021 working in the areas of Sports Law, Civil Litigation, Arbitration and Dispute Resolution at Bichara e Motta Advogados since 2021. He has experience in arbitral proceedings before the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), FIFA, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), and several sports dispute resolution bodies.
He is an inaugural member of the Sports Law Study Group (GEDD) at PUC-Rio and a selected member of the Young Arbitrators Committee of the Brazilian Center for Mediation and Arbitration (CBMA).
